Lower Extremity Amputee/Prosthetic Rehabilitation: A Team Approach

Fred Lerche, PT, C.Ped.

Fred received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University.  Since 1993 Fred has practiced with CoxHealth in the Outpatient Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine department.  He has over fifteen years experience specializing in amputee rehabilitation.  He is currently an adjunct faculty member in the physical therapy program at his alma mater Southwest Baptist University. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at Missouri State University teaching prosthetics and orthotics. Over the past several years Fred has been actively involved with the National Amputee Coalition Meeting by serving as a guest instructor for the Gait Analysis Lab.  He is currently the team leader of the Foot and Ankle program at CoxHealth.
 
Tom Quesenberry, A.B.C. Certified Prosthetist

Tom is a Northwestern University Prosthetics Post-Graduate Program class of 86. B.S. Biomechanics, Montana State 1985. Currently Practice Manager for Hanger Prosthetics in Springfield Mo, since 1989. Specialties include Post-op prosthetic management, Microprocessor Knees and INSIGNIA CAD generated prosthetics/orthotics. Have been a prosthetic guest lecturer at Missouri State, Southwest Baptist University and O.T.C. for many years as well as prosthetic team member and consultant for St Johns Amputee clinic. Past affiliations include but are not limited to the American Diabetes Assoc. and the Academy for Prosthetics and Orthotics.
