150 Hour Instructional Program in Play Therapy |

| Missouri State University is approved by the Association for Play Therapy (APT) to offer continuing education specific to Play Therapy. Missouri State University is also approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer continuing education for psychologists and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offer continuing education for certified counselors. We adhere to their continuing education guidelines. Missouri State University maintains responsibility for these programs. | ||
| • The
Midwest Play Therapy Institute (MPTI) is co-sponsored by the
Missouri Association for Play Therapy (MAPT) and The Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE). • The MPTI program is a flexible, on-going series. To receive our certificate,"150 Hour Instructional Program in Play Therapy," applicants must complete 150 hours of APT approved continuing education. • Missouri State University will accept 20 hours of APT approved continuing education from other institutions to meet the specified 150 hours. |

| To qualify for CE credits, participants must attend each workshop for which they are registered in its entirety. No exceptions can be made to this policy. Participants will receive CE documentation at the end of each workshop. | ||
